iPhone Touch?....you mean iPod Touch, right? Well, perhaps your car don't have the iPod integration yet. Unfortunately creating a compatibility between your iPod and your BMW is usually easy. Your BMW should have a tape player in it, well most older models do . You need to use a cassette tape adapter. The handy device is usually sold at electronic stores for about $20. You simply need to plug it into the headphone jack. It will help to transfer the sound from your iPod touch to the tape player and then to you BMW.s audio system.

You may also need an FM transmitter, it will broadcast your iPod's audio playback to your BMW's FM tuner. In essence, you have a portable radio station, with the iPod as the music player. You should plugs the device into the iPod and choose and an "empty" frequency slot, where no other radio station use it. The range of the device is only a few yards, so it's quite unlikely that your radio transmission will be picked up by other cars.

Another method is to ask a car audio technician to wire an auxiliary cable into your BMW's stereo. This will allow you to plug the cable into the headphone jack of your iPod.
